Good quality brushes will last for years, and you'll soon realise which brushes are essential for your makeup collection. In this section I'll be going over which brushes I think are the most important, and what they do. The brushes I'm going to use as examples will mostly be MAC, with a few other brands thrown in. However, if you don't want to buy MAC, then just look for a similar brush in another range, as there's lots of brands making the same types of brushes. Quality can be hit and miss, but it's sometimes worth seeing if a brush does what you want it to before shelling out more money on a higher quality version.
